Writer · London
I write about ideas, subcultures, and the people who inhabit them. My work sits at the intersection of immersive reportage and cultural criticism — dispatches written close to the ground, among the people who fascinate me.
I studied English Literature and Language at University College London, where I graduated with First Class honours. Since then I've taught, travelled, and written — from classrooms in Seoul to the pages of the New Statesman.
When I'm not writing, I'm likely reading the LRB or the Financial Times, listening to something baroque, or watching birds.
I'm available for commissions, features, and conversations about ideas that matter.
